So guess what loyal-blog readers. Mere hours ago girlfriend C. and I gave a large chunk of money a broker and a landlord … and are moving in together!
It’ll be the first time I have ever truly lived with a girl, without having my own place as a back-up. I’m very excited!
It is a biiigggg, sunny one-bedroom above the Duane Reade on Ninth Ave. and W. 49th St. , a few blocks from my current place. The renovations aren’t that modern, but it’s a great location and about 800 sq. feet.
The lease starts May 15, a little sooner than we would have liked, but all the brokers told us rents go up June 1 once the students arrive.
